Pumpkin!

So I'm not even going to lie....I'm absolutely so excited about the Pumpkin Spice latte at Starbucks!

It's so delicious and yummy....I just don't Ben know what to do with myself! Remind you, this was my first time ever even drinking a latte and I'm positive that I made the right choice! Now, I figured out that I'm not a big "coffee drinker" but I'm cool with the little boost of energy it gives you lol. Soooo I only got 1 shot of espresso in my latte (regular comes with two for my size cup)

Now what I've heard is that, this cup of yummy goodness, is a seasonal drink. Are they cray cray? I want it year round, ha !

But now that you've heard how AWESOME this latte is, you should most definitely check it out before its gone !

            What's your favorite latte?

                 Talk to you later!

The Balancing Act

Hey guys! Ana here, & today I want to talk about a problem that seems extremely among students: How can we manage everything being thrown at us without having a complete meltdown? This is a question that I've been asking myself a lot since recently starting my first year in college, & I've finally got a system that seems to be working!

Plan your day out. I know this seems time consuming, but trust me it works wonders! If you wake up in the morning & make a list of things you want to accomplish for the day, you'll be so much more productive. My daily lists consists of diffrent assignment that I should work on, my workout plans, even things like having lunch & eating healthy!

Give yourself breathing room. Don't just make time for school work! In order to be a healthy, happy person there has to be a balance between school work & a social life! This being said, if you're ever feeling overwhelmed go to the mall, or have lunch with a friend, this will help restore the balance of things!

Make time to read over your notes for the day. Every night I try to re-read the lecture notes I took on that day. This helps the information discussed in class really sink into your brain. It also comes in handy if a pop quiz is thrown at you, since you'll already have reviewed the information.

Don't procrastinate!!! I am a huge offender when it comes to procrastination! Don't leave things until the last minute, everything always just pile up at the end! Trust me I have pulled some horrible all- nighter sad a consiquence to my procrastination.

Most importantly remember to Enjoy your day! School is time to make memories & have fun with your friends! Take tons of pictures, one day you'll want to look on the memories you've made!

Basically these rules are all extremely important for a successful school year & a healthy mind! While school is for learning, it's also a place were amazing memories are made!
If you have anymore advice to help regulate The Balancing Act I would love to read them in the comments below!
Xoxo,

Good Reads.

                     Kadasia here!
So I just wanted to share a trilogy that I am reading that I think you guys should most definitely check out. It's Delirium Trilogy by Lauren Oliver and of course, the two books that come after, Pandemonium & Requiem( not in photo, sorry lovelies).

Lauren Oliver is a wonderful writer and Deliruim is a beautiful love story! It's full of love...action....terror and soooo much more! The main plot is of a time where "love" is a disease and around their 18th birthday, a procedure is given so that the person is immune to it. Something different, right?
I really hope that you check this book out, it keeps you on the
edge of your seat! & if anyone is wondering the book is totally appropriate with only a couple curse words in the whole entire first book. Also nothing inappropriate, just a nice book to grab on a sunny day (;

                      Talk to you later (:

Workout Do's & Don'ts

Hey guys, Ana here, and lately I've been upping my workouts! This means not only elongating the workout sessions but trying out knew things and pushing my body harder than expected! Despite my efforts, I do find it easy to stray into bad fitness habits. The following rules are things that I try to keep in mind to make sure that I'm properly working my body!

Don't skip meals. Many people skip meals through out the day in order to "lose more weight" when in fact skipping meals slows down your metabolism to a dead halt.
Do eat six healthy mini meals through out your day. This will keep your metabolism high, and your energy level up!

Don't over train. If you've just started working out don't over work your body, this will only hurt your muscles & slow you down the following day.
Do push your self harder each day you workout. Set realistic goals, and increase reps & time intervals.

Don't set unrealistic goals. Once you make unreachable goals, you'll never be truley happy with your results!
Do set challenging goals! If your overall goal is to run a mile in 7 minutes, start with running one in 11, & work from there. This method will allow you to keep pushing yourself while achieving good results in the meantime!

Don't think skinny! If the only reason you're working out is to be "skinny" then you will never be happy with your results. Plenty of times this involves starving your self & not providing your body with essential nutrients.
Do set reasonable limitations! If you ultimate goal is to lose weight & gain muscle, then by all means watch what your eating. This doesn't meant don't eat, just simply switch unhealthy foods for foods that are healthy and enjoyable (I love to eat fruits)!

Don't think negatively! This one says it all, don't ever think bad about yourself when working out!
Do motivate yourself! When it comes to working out & staying fit, you are your best advocate! Don't depend on others for support, be self sufficient!

All in all these are rules that I workout by! By following these guidelines I'm able to keep myself happy & motivated, even when I'm "too tired" or when the weather is not its best for an outdoor workout! I'd love to hear even more tips from you guys, so feel free to share them in the comments below!
 Xoxo,
           ~Ana

Headband Tuck?

Hey! Kadasia here and I have a beautiful hairstyle here from totalbeauty. It's called a "Hairband Tuck" it's created by tucking in your hair under a headband and it might sound simple but it's very very pretty. I can testify on this one, since I wore this on a date (he loved it!). But it's very quick, fun and simple, you can even spruce it up by adding a small bow or flower in the back.
Try this out and tell me ! Give me any suggestions or pretty hairstyles you know of.

Joyous Braces

When most of us hear of braces we probably think of a mouth filled with metal & constant pain. This morning I thankfully got my braces removed, & let me just say how worth it they are! I never thought my teeth could be so straight (it's pretty amazing actually) & I never thought that I would ever love my smile! Turns out that after struggling with my braces for a year & a half, I'm actually happy I got them (no pain, no gain, right?)

Leave comments below sharing your experiences with braces, or even any questions you guys might have!

Tying it up for fall ?

When I think of fall, I think of ways to stay cosy but chic (of course). I was on Instagram and came across this adorable picture the other day.
This picture represents a hairstlye that I would totally wear on a chilly day. It would be paired with a layered scarf and a sweater for me! Btw, her makeup is gorgeous as well, the bold eyelashes are hypnotizing!

What's your go to hairstlye for a chilly fall day? Tell me below!
